Food WTF?!

IMG_0865

We understand and know from experience that not everyone may start out with an uncomplicated relationship with food. More often than not we use food as gratification or punishment, it’s almost like food is using us and we're its slave. I mean we gotta eat, right? If we eat too little we’ll lack the energy and if we eat too much it’s the same result. Ever heard of the term ”emotional eating”? Emotional eating is when you are restless (insert any uncomfortable emotion) and you eat an entire bag of chips/candy (often fat and sugar, you rarely stress eat 4 cucumbers, right!). Well, there are several different eating patterns (we can discuss diets in a later blog) and most of them involve us checking out, closing down, numbing out, or trying to control. But as Marianne Williamson says: ”It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliantgorgeoustalented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?”

Our biggest goal is for you to LOVE yourself, to give you the tools to connect with this magnificent soul of yours, and then manifest it for the entire world (you and I included) to see. This is what every woman deserves, to love herself, be her biggest cheerleader, and have a community of supportive women there to cheer her on. This is what SoulWork Club is all about! And from this core value, we have created SoulFood, a chapter part of every program you sign up to, whether it’s a physical, mental or emotional transformation, food is going to be part of the journey.

We believe in enjoying life and not letting food or exercise become a source of stress in your day-to-day life. Being too strict with yourself 100% of the time will not help you feel or look your best due to the negative effects elevated stress levels have on the body. When creating SoulWork Club we wanted to offer a platform and community where you get the tools and support to exercise and eat healthy in a way that will allow you to enjoy life, enjoy food, and get the results you deserve.

Progress is 70-80% what you eat and 30-20% enhanced by your training routine. That’s why we always include a guidebook on SoulFood in all of our programs so that you can see and feel the results you’ve been working so diligently for. The content is different for each program but they all have options to suit all preferences (vegan substitutions available). SoulFood is not about restricting food, it’s about ensuring your body is fueled throughout the day so you feel energized, healthy, and get closer to your goals. We are all about Healthy Balanced Meals. Focusing on the quality of food will allow you to feel satisfied AND see/feel results!

Here are some of the topics we cover in our programs:

• Meal Plan Guide
• Simple tips to maximize your results
• Tips for clean eating
• Guidance on emotional eating
• Recipe Guide

What is your biggest concern regarding food?
We would love to hear from you!

With Love,

Johanna & Paulina
